The Roseland Water Department will be conducting a hydrant flushing program for maintenance purposes commencing on Monday, May 23, 2016. The flushing will take place during the low demand hours between 10pm and 6am. The program should take approximately three weeks ending on Monday, June 13, 2016. The crews will start on Laurel Avenue and progress westward until they reach Eisenhower Parkway. Residents should not be alarmed if there is a slight discoloration in their water; there is nothing harmful in it. Water should be run to clear the condition. Homeowners are urged to check their water before doing any laundry. Please contact the Public Works Department at 973-226-6565 with any questions or concerns. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
